Nomi AI Alternatives: 6 Apps Priced Against $15.99
Nomi's $15.99 a month buys three layers of memory: short-, medium- and long-term. Shopping for an alternative really means asking what that same money, or less, buys elsewhere, and the table below answers that before the prose does.
Nomi AI Alternatives Compared: Price, Memory, Voice, Media

| GoLove.ai: RECOMMENDED PICK | ~$19.99 | ~$9.99/mo | Free signup, 2 daily Stars | Chat memory; 8,000-message on ULTRA | Calls + messages on PRO | In-chat photos, photo-to-video, video generator | Yes, on PRO |
| Kindroid | Not confirmed | Not confirmed | None | Long-term + cascaded | Voice + video calls | Selfies + video selfies | Not confirmed |

| Replika | ~$19.99 | ~$5.83/mo | Limited | Persistent | Calls on paid tiers | Not confirmed | Romantic modes restricted for newer accounts |
| SpicyChat | from $5.95 | ~$5/mo | Limited | Paid Memory Manager | TTS on top tier | Images on higher tiers | Not confirmed |
| Character.AI | Free; c.ai+ $9.99 | ~$7.92/mo | Yes | Strong in-chat | Unlimited calls on c.ai+ | Not confirmed | SFW only |
Here's how the rows split. Memory goes to Nomi. Cheapest entry goes to SpicyChat. Video calls go to Kindroid, and free SFW chat goes to Character.AI. GoLove.ai wins one row: photos and video of the same character, inside the chat.
So what's the short answer? If you left Nomi wanting to see her, GoLove.ai is the pick. You describe a photo in your own words and then turn that scene into a clip. Signup is free, so you can browse the roster today before you spend a cent.

What Nomi's $15.99 Actually Buys
What Nomi's $15.99 Actually Buys
> $15.99/month at list price, about $13.33/month on quarterly billing, or about $8.33/month billed annually.
Memory in three layers
Nomi splits memory into short-, medium- and long-term, and it pairs that with custom backstories for each companion. This is the category's real memory standout, and pretending otherwise would insult anyone who's used it.
Voice, selfies and group chats
- Voice messages and hands-free calls
- Selfies generated in chat, plus subscriber video features
- Group conversations across multiple companions
- Custom backstories you write yourself
Why readers still shop around
The spec leaves two things open for media-first users. We could not confirm how much scene control you get when you ask Nomi for an image, or whether a dedicated video generator sits behind it. If you mostly type, that may never come up. If you want to direct what you see, though, it's the whole question.

Under Nomi's list price
- SpicyChat Get A Taste: straight up the cheapest paid entry here, and annual billing lowers it further.
- Character.AI: chat is free, and c.ai+ is the paid upgrade.
- Candy AI: the monthly plan lists below Nomi's, with a discounted first month and a much cheaper annual plan.
Pricing changes often, so check their sites for today's number. The table above has the figures we could confirm.
Annual math
We could not confirm Kindroid's pricing, so it sits out this math. Yearly billing reshuffles the rest: Candy AI's annual plan is the lowest per month among the priced rivals, and Replika's annual plan also undercuts Nomi's on a per-month basis. The Annual math column in the table above has the per-month figures.
What GoLove's PRO price includes
PRO runs about $19.99/month, or about $119.88/year (~$9.99/month) billed annually. That covers all NSFW content, character creation, voice messages and calls, unlimited Feed, image generation, and 100 Stars every month. ULTRA (~$59.99) adds the 8,000-message memory.
The free tier, honestly: signup is free ("Join Free") and comes with 2 daily reward Stars. Chat opens straight from Explore. Before you even have an account, the first photo is visible and the next one sits blurred behind a Sign Up lock. That's the extent of what we could confirm.

Memory, Backstory and Voice: The Rows Nomi Holds
Memory, Backstory and Voice: The Rows Nomi Holds
Long-term memory
Nomi's layered memory and Kindroid's long-term, cascaded memory lead this row. Replika keeps persistent memory. SpicyChat sells a Memory Manager for saved memories and adds automatic semantic memories from True Supporter up. GoLove remembers your chat history, but its 8,000-message smart memory is ULTRA-only, so getting it costs more than Nomi's whole plan.
Characters you can open right now
Tap any of them and the chat starts there
Will a GoLove character remember last week's chat? Yes. Memory of your history is part of the app. The deeper 8,000-message tier sits on ULTRA.
Backstory building
Design with AI takes up to 2,000 characters of description. In about a minute it returns a named character with her own @handle, a written bio and a portrait, at ~3 Stars observed. New characters stay Private by default, which is underrated if you'd rather keep yours to yourself.
Voice messages vs live calls
- Nomi: messages plus hands-free calls.
- Kindroid: voice and video calls.
- Character.AI: unlimited calls on c.ai+.
- Replika: calls on paid tiers.
- GoLove: a phone icon in every chat and a playback button on every message, both on PRO.
Voice is only part of the picture. Here's what separates a good AI girlfriend chat from a forgettable one.
In-Chat Photos and Photo-to-Video on GoLove.ai
In-Chat Photos and Photo-to-Video on GoLove.ai
This is the row that decides the table, so here's how it plays out. Say you're chatting with Nicole (@texasgirl), the Texas brunette with the sense of humor.
Asking for a photo in your own words
You tap the media button, choose Send Photo, and describe the scene however you like. About 20–45 seconds later she arrives, with the same face and body as her avatar and earlier photos. It costs 1 Star. It works for explicit requests on adult characters too.
One tap to a 5-second clip
Under that photo sits Generate Video. One tap gets you a ~5 s video of the same scene in about a minute, for 10 Stars.
Video Notes and quick replies
Send Video Note produces a round talking clip with sound in under 90 seconds (10 Stars). There's also a "Send me a sexy video" chip, and the magic-wand button writes three suggested replies when you're stuck.
ASK HER FOR PHOTOS
She sends them right there in the chat.
Nomi has selfies and subscriber video, so this isn't about Nomi lacking media. The difference is scene control and a known cost per item: you write the scene, and you know it's 1 Star before you send.
What GoLove.ai gives you:
- Live voice calls and voice messages
- She remembers your chat history
- Photos on request in the chat
- Image generator with 35 realistic poses and 21 outfits
- 2 reward stars every day you log in
Every one of these starts from a character on Explore. Pick her, open the chat, and your first photo request is under a minute away.
GoLove's Video Generator and Feed by the Numbers
GoLove's Video Generator and Feed by the Numbers
> 147 video modes (76 realistic, 20 anime, 35 trans, 16 anime-trans) plus 89 picture poses.
Preset cards to finished video
You pick an action card like 'Twerk' or 'Hard Doggy Style', add Clothes and Background, then tap Generate once. It works with any GoLove character or your own custom one. Need more than presets?
- Multi-Scene for building across scenes
- Image to Video to animate a still
- Extend Video and Video Edit for reworking clips
Each run gives you 1, 2 or 4 videos at 480p, 720p or 1080p.
The Feed and its Remix button
The Feed is a vertical clip feed with Explore and Liked tabs. Double-tap a clip to like it, jump into a chat with that character, or hit Remix. Remix reopens the generator with the clip's character, action, outfit and scene already set, which makes it a vibe for anyone who'd rather tweak than start blank. Free accounts get a limited daily Feed. PRO makes it unlimited and adds filters.
Characters to start from
You can start from 300+ anime companions, plus the Realistic and Trans categories. There are no male characters yet.
What We'd Fix at GoLove.ai
What We'd Fix at GoLove.ai
What works
- Media on demand, right inside the chat
- PRO bundles voice with 100 Stars a month
- Annual billing brings PRO to ~$9.99/month
What we'd fix
- Price: PRO's ~$19.99/month (checked October 2026) is a higher monthly price than every priced rival in the table except Replika, which lists the same. Regional and promo pricing means your number may differ too.
- Free tier: it's deliberately thin, with 2 daily Stars and a limited Feed. We could not confirm the exact daily Feed quota.
- Voice messages and calls are PRO-only.
- The deepest memory, 8,000 messages, sits on ULTRA, the tier above PRO.
- There are no male characters yet.
The Star math is simple enough. It's 1 Star per image and 5 per video at the base rate, while in-chat clips and 720p videos run 10. Packs start at about $9.99 for 30 Stars. PRO's monthly 100 Stars covers a lot of photos before you'd ever need one. It's not cheap, but you know what each item costs, and that counts for something.
